Purpose of the Dialer Status and setup - Dialer Setup - Phone Extensions Screen:
This screen is used to create/modify extensions for the workstations to allow them to communicate with the Dialer. You can assign a specific extension to a specific workstation from this screen. You can activate/deactivate an extension for troubleshooting purposes from this screen.
What you see in the Dialer Status and setup - Dialer Setup - Phone Extensions Screen:
The currently Active SIP Provider.
Active checkbox enables/disables the selected extension.
Dial Plan Num. Contains the ViCidial's user ID field.
Phone Extension: Contains the ViCidial's extension field.
Conference PW. The password of both extension and user name in the ViCiDial.
Default. The first extension that will be chosen when dialing out.
Dialer User: Not used.
Dialer PW: Not used.
Agent Scrn Lgin: Not used.
Login Password: Not used.
Specifies which workstation will use this extension. When specified no other workstation will be able to use this extension.
New creates a new extension.
Edit edits existing extension.
Delete deletes existing extension.
How to use the Dialer Status and setup - Dialer Setup - Phone Extensions Screen:
In order for the dialer to work you must set the ViCiDial in a very specific way! Every user name must have extension with the same ID and user name and extension must have the same password.
