Purpose of the Dialer Status and setup - Dialer Setup - Automatic Dialer Setting Screen:
This screen contain Automatic Dialer various configuration options.

Begin Recording after call starts Delay. Try 10 field manages the delay between the start of the conversation to the start of the recording.
Shorter than this setting calls considered answer machine. (5-10) Try 10 field manages the minimum length of the conversation for it not to be considered as answering machine.
Disable the New Callback button checkbox disables/enables the New Callback button in the dialer screen.
Hide the Leads Countable in the dialer checkbox hides the box that contains agents previous leads record.
Show Send DTMF (Dual tone multi frequency signaling.) allow you to "press 0 to talk to reception." Useful when calling businesses.
Request time out in seconds. Increase if getting blank calls. Numbers of seconds to wait for communicate with the dialer. When exceed will try to communicate again. (If you see many timeout requests in your error log you may increase the amount of seconds.)
Microphones Maximum Volume in %. (Try 40) field designates the maximum reachable microphone volume that can be changes by the agent.
Acoustic Echo Cancellation (Default: OFF)
Comfort Noise Generator (Default: OFF)
Select File points the agents script home page to a specific available index.html.
Type URL points the agents script home page to a specific website.
Make Callback Dial Box read only so can only dial to callbacks checkbox disables/enable the option to type in a phone number in the callback screen.
Maximum time (in seconds) dialer can pause before automatically stops field controls the length of the Pause button available to agents in the dialer screen.
Show Send Email button in Lead/Callback card checkbox enables/disables the option to send emails to the client from the lead/callback screens.
Number of recordings to keep locally before upload to server field controls the number of recording stored on the computer before the transfer of those recording to the server.
Automatic Gain Control (Default: OFF) checkbox.
Voice Activity Detection (Default: OFF)
Show Play Message button (When clock play recorded message) Allow you to ask the dialer to leave a message on an answer machine while you continue to the next call. Require to record and upload the message. See instructions in the ViCiDial.
Run Monitoring Independent. No Barge/Listen. For slower computers.
Hide DNC and NG Buttons checkbox disables/enables the do not call and the not good disposition buttons in the automatic dialer screen.
Jitter Level. Default = 10. Choose larger value if sound quality is low.
Realtim Report URL field contains the URL of the VICIdial real time report.
Restore Defaults button restores the default options for this screen.
Save button saves the changes made.
Cancel button cancels the changes made.

Open Internet Explorer! NOTE: This process requires to use internet explorer.
Open your ViCiDial and logon as administrator. NOTE: When asked for user name and password make sure to check the remember credentials button! User name and password must be memorized by internet explorer or the monitoring screen will not work.
Open the real time report.
Setup the real time report parameters, such as refresh interval, hide / show calls waiting etc.
