The purpose of this screen is to setup a scanner device to work with the program. NOTE: The scanner has to be connected to the computer and installed first!
What you see in the Setup Scanner Screen:
Change Default Scanner changes the default scanner.
Hide user interface /Show user interface hides/shows the interface.
Save as file type changes the default file type of saved scans.
Note: Make sure to select PDF.
Use Automatic Feeder enables/disables the use of the automatic feeder of the scanner.
Save saves the scanner device information.
Cancel cancels the changes.
Test Scanner tests the scanner.
Close closes the Setup Scanner Screen.
Open Document opens the scanned document that was scanned during test scanner.
Document Preview checkmark box allows to preview the document in the scanner.

How to use the Setup Scanner Screen:
Setup a new scanner device to work with the program:
Make sure that the scanner device is properly installed and you are able to scan with the default scanner program.
Click on Change Default Scanner.
In the Select Source window select the correct scanner device from the Sources list.
NOTE: if you did a mistake and you need to select another scanner make sure to close and open the setup scanner window again.
Click Select.
Choose the default file type to be used for saved scans in the program. The default required type is PDF.
Click on Use automatic feeder if you are going to use the scanner device automatic feeder.
Click Save.
Test your new scanner device:
Click on Document Preview to be able to preview the document that you are going to scan.
Click on Test Scanner to test the scanner device.
Click Ok in the warning box that will appear.
The scanner interface will open.
Click Start.
If the scanner device is configured properly you should see the scanned document.
